Russian strikes in Ukraine's city of Odessa damage port, grain silo and an abandoned hotel

Russian strikes on Ukraine resulted in the deaths of four civilians and the injuries of 13 on the previous day, according to Ukrainian officials on September 25. A drone and missile strike in Odesa damaged port infrastructure, a grain silo, and an abandoned hotel, and injured one person.

The day after the conflict in Ukraine reached its 20th month, the Ukrainian air force claimed to have shot down all Russian drones, but one of 12 Kalibr missiles and two P-800 Oniks cruise missiles also managed to get through air defences.

Since exiting a pact that permitted Ukrainian grain shipments to nations threatened by hunger, Russia has consistently targeted the port and grain storage facilities in Odesa. Silos, warehouses, oil terminals, and other crucial infrastructure for storing and exporting have all been destroyed as a result of the attacks.

Russian soldiers attacked Kherson in the south with bombs and six massive artillery attacks, demolishing a factory and school and damaging residential structures. Bombs that struck the city of Beryslav resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the injuries of another two. In the next village of Lvove, a man was killed.

Russian forces targeted homes in ten cities and villages in the eastern part of the Donetsk region, killing two people in the hamlet of Zarichne.

The Russian army attacked Orikhiv and the surrounding area five times during the war in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Three Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Kursk region early on Monday, according to the Russian Defence Ministry, while three more were shot down over the Bryansk region. Additionally, another drone was alleged to have been shot down over the Belgorod region.

Kursk According to Governor Roman Starovoit, a downed drone over the city centre of Kursk caused damage to the roofs of many private homes and an administrative structure, as well as broken windows in an apartment complex. Starovoit reported that nobody was hurt.

An administrative facility in Kursk that some Ukrainian and Russian media said housed the Federal Security Service, Russia's primary domestic security agency, had its roof damaged the day before by a Ukrainian drone.

Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of Bryansk, claimed that while no one was hurt by the drones, cattle were slaughtered and a farm structure was damaged by Ukrainian rockets.

Russian officials diverted or delayed a number of planes at Moscow's airports during the drone strike.

According to the Defence Ministry, four further Ukrainian drones were also shot down over the Black Sea and Crimea.
